Folk and Geist

Megan Suzanne Folk and Alan Jay Geist announce their engagement.
The couple will be married Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 123 S. Esplanade in Leavenworth.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dale and Joyce Drescher of Kansas City, Kan., and Jim and Anya Folk of Easton. The groom-to-be is the son of Richard Geist and the late Lavonne Geist of Abilene.
The prospective bride graduated from Piper High School in 1995 before earning degrees from Kansas State University and Emporia State University. She currently resides in Kansas City, Kan., and works as an elementary school counselor for Piper USD 203.
The prospective groom graduated from Abilene High School in 1995 before attending Kansas State University and Washburn University. He currently resides in Topeka and works for the Kansas State Historical Society as a Capital Dome tour guide.
