A reception for Royce Kitts, outgoing Tonganoxie Public Library director, will take place 3-5 p.m. Friday, May 27 at the library, Third and Bury streets in Tonganoxie. The Friends of the Library will be sponsoring the event.
Kitts started at the Tonganoxie library in August 2008. He has accepted a position as education librarian at Washburn University's Mabee Library in Topeka.
His last day in Tonganoxie will be May 28.
