Mary (Lenahan) Wager
Funeral services for Mary (Lenahan) Wager will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie. Father Mark Goldasich will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mrs. Wager died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center.

Mrs. Wager was born Jan. 13, 1908, in Tonganoxie, Kan., the daughter of Richard and Bertha (Leak) Lenahan. She was a teacher at Coal Ridge and Bleakley country schools and an elementary school teacher at Tonganoxie Grade School. She enjoyed gardening and always had fresh flowers in season for her church's altar. She was united in marriage May 22, 1946, to Glenn E. Wager in Tonganoxie, Kan. He preceded her in death Aug. 4, 1976. She is survived by several nieces.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, where the Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the church building fund.
