Services for Charles Lyle Coffin, 69, Leavenworth were Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Leavenworth with the Revs. Matthew Lucas and Scott Berry officiating. Burial was in Fall Creek Cemetery in Jarbalo.
Mr. Coffin died Friday, July 27, 2001. He was born Nov. 0. 1931, in Springdale, the son of Charles and Amy Coffin. He was a lifetime dairy farmer who retired in 1992. In 1971, his family was named the Leavenworth Times' First Farm Family of the Year.
He married Jennie Marie Wiley on March 19, 1950. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Ronald and Larry Dean, both of McLouth, Donald of Tonganoxie, and Dale of Oskaloosa; a brother, Keith, Lenexa; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
