Gilgin Services

A mass and memorial service for Francis J. "Frank" Gilgin, 78, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie.

Mr. Gilgin died Feb. 3, 2001, in Tonganoxie.

He was born April 26, 1922, in Lorrach, West Germany.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a KU music department scholarship in Mr. Gilgin's name, sent in care of Charles Hoag, Department of Music, 320 Murphy Hall, University of Kansas, Lawrence, 66045.

Ellen E. Chrisman

1902-2001

Services for Ellen Chrisman, 98, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. today, Feb. 21, 2001, at the Alden-Harrington Chapel in Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Chrisman, a former Bonner Springs resident, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at Tonganoxie Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 31, 1902, in Bonner Springs.

She was a member of the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church and the church circle.

Her husband, Leslie B. "Peg" Chrisman, died in 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Chrisman, Parkville, Mo., and L.J. Chrisman, Lenexa; a brother, Fred Tinberg, Linwood; a sister, Ida Alexander, Bonner Springs; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church.
