Funeral services for Idah Pearl Campbell will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Quisenberry Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Hubbel Hill Cemetery.

Idah Pearl Campbell, 97, died Monday, April 30, 2001, at the Tonganoxie Nursing Center, Tonganoxie. She was born Feb. 7, 1904, in Horton, the daughter of Oscar and Zoa (Hathaway) Breyman. She graduated from; Horton High School in 1923.

She worked in dry goods stores in Horton and in Corning, Kan., before moving to Sunflower Village and working at the Sunflower Ordinance Plant in De Soto during World War II.

The family moved to Tonganoxie in 1946, where Mrs. Campbell worked at Zoellner's Dry Goods Store, retiring in 1974.

She was a member of the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Florence Riford Senior Citizens Center, all of Tonganoxie.

On June 16, 1926, she married Kenneth Reed Campbell in Horton. He preceded her in death Nov. 30, 1970.

Survivors include three daughters, Juanita Klinken-berg, Kansas City, Mo., Lola Campbell, Amityville, N.Y., and Marilyn Bundy, Tonganoxie; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Tonganoxie Nursing Center, in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
