Milton E. Coleman
Services for Milton E. Coleman, 71, Independence, Mo., were Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Speaks Midtown Chapel. Burial was in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens.
Mr. Coleman died Nov. 20, 2001, at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park.
He was born July 19, 1930, in Deepwater, Mo., and lived most of his life in the Independence area. He had worked as a mixer for (Keebler) Sunshine Biscuit Company for 17 years, retiring in 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the RWDSU Baker and Confectionary Union, Local 184-L, and the Stone Church Congregation of the Community of Christ Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby P. Coleman; two sons, Jerry E. Coleman, Tonganoxie, and Danny J. Coleman, Raytown, Mo.; a daughter, Tammy M. Coleman, Raytown; a stepson, Bill Ross, Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; a brother, Bob Coleman, Lathrop, Mo.; two sisters, Margaret Howerton, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Lona Mae Hook, Lenexa; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation.
