She and her husband, Raymond DeWitt moved here because he is a department manager at the new Cabela’s store under construction east of Tonganoxie. Ryan and Stephanie Wiles, Tonganoxie, announce the birth of their son, Austin Jacob Wiles. Austin was born May 22, 2002. He weighed 10 pounds, 1.6 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Services for Clarence H. (Hank) Marquardt St., former Longton, Kan., resident, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Oak Valley Cemetery, Oak Valley, Kan., with the Rev. Dean Von Stroh, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church, Andover, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Potts Chapel, Independence. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ft. Riley Military Detachment.
