Obituary: Elizabeth “Libby” Laming Clayborne
Services for Elizabeth Laming Clayborne, Bentonville, Ark., will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at the Quisenberry Funeral Chapel, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Clayborne, 50, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at her home. She was born Feb. 16, 1952, in Lawrence, the daughter of Foster (Bud) and Gloria (Parker) Laming. She was the owner of Image Works Photography Studio, Bentonville, Ark.
Elizabeth was crowned Miss Leavenworth in 1969 and was a part of the Miss America contest later that year. She moved to the Arkansas area in 1992 from Manchester, Vt. In 1972 she married Roy D. Clayborne. She was a member of the St. Theodore Episcopalian Church in Bella Vista, Ark. and she enjoyed photography and was a wonderful artist.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Taylor Clayborne, Bella Vista, Ark., and her parents of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
