Pre-thanksgiving games

The Tonganoxie Junior High seventh-grade girls basketball team rolled into the Thanksgiving break with a convincing 25-14 victory against Xavier on Nov. 22.

The victory pushed the Warriors record to 5-5 on the season.

Andie Jeannin and Lauren Hall led the team in scoring with nine and six points respectively, while Abby Eisman had "some nifty passes for baskets," according to TJHS coach Phil Jeannin.

"We controlled the boards as a result of Madi Yates, Shelby Heskett and Angela Jacobs," Jeannin said.
