It’s not easy saying goodbye. But as we grow older, the goodbyes become more frequent.

And so, it’s with mixed feelings that we say farewell to the Tonganoxie High School Class of 2004.

Many of them already have shown that they’re ready to take their place in the world, either as students or as members of the working world. Some, like all young people, have struggled. But, with guidance, will mature into solid citizens.

This time of year is a time of change, and making changes can only help us grow.

As members of the THS Class of 2004 head out into the world, we wish them the best. We hope they remember the lessons that were taught at school and at home. And we hope they come back to the old hometown for a visit.

We’d be glad to see them.
