Services for Charles D. Budenosky, 83, Tonganoxie, were Monday, May 9, 2005, at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
Mr. Budenosky died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at his home. He was born March 5, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Anthony and Margaret (Lynch) Budenosky.
He was a retired engineer who had worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad, and he was a farmer. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in World War II.
Mr. Budenosky was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie, the American Legion, Tonganoxie, and the Disabled American Veterans.
He married Jean Perkins on March 5, 1950, in Olathe. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Bill Wilson, Austin, Texas; four daughters, Judy Greathouse, Kansas City, Kan., Sharon Hull, Lawrence, Nikki Weaver, Tonganoxie, and Janet Richardson, Omaha, Ark.; a brother, Lawrence Budenosky, Tonganoxie; three sisters, Vera Wallace, Overland Park, Stella Clark, Independence, Mo., and Liz Johnson, Portland, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A grandson, Shawn Hull, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, Box 993 Tonganoxie, 66086.
