Urban A. Dziadura

Services for former North Kansas City resident Urban Anthony Dziadura, 81, Tonganoxie, were Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.

Mr. Dziadura died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence. He was born Nov. 5, 1924, in Bonner Springs, the son of Peter and Helen (Belka) Dziadura.

He was a member of the U.S. Navy and a World War II veteran. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

He worked as a meat cutter for Goldstein Brothers Meat Co. and S & S Meat Co., both of Kansas City, Mo., and retired in 1988. He was a longtime member of the Meat Cutters' Union.

He married Ethel G. Theno on Oct. 8, 1949, in Basehor. She survives, of the home. Also surviving is a brother,

Ernest Dziadura, Spring Hill.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund or to Sisters of the Poor, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie 66086.
