Kansas City Christian 63, McLouth 24

Scoring just one point in the first quarter didn’t get McLouth off to a good start against once-beaten Kansas City Christian.

The Bulldogs trailed, 19-1, after the first quarter and 38-6 at halftime. MHS did outscore KCC in the fourth, but the Panthers prevailed, 63-24.

Thompson led MHS in scoring with seven, while Heaven Mills scored six.

Kansas City Christian finished the regular season at 19-1, while McLouth ended its regular season at 3-17.

McLouth traveled Tuesday to Effingham to play Atchison County in the first round of Class 3A substate action. The Bulldogs were the No. 7 seed, while the Tigers were the No. 2.
