McLouth Happenings

McLouth Church of the Nazarene welcomes the community to join in a class to get your household on the road to financial peace.

David Ramsey's Financial Peace University (Ramsey is the radio host of "The Dave Ramsey Show") is a 13-week series (2 hours each) of Biblically-based financial management. Attend the preview at 7:30 p.m. Monday to learn about this course. Babysitting will be provided for the preview.

  • Community Scrapbooking Fellowship will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the basement of McLouth First Baptist Church. Beginners and seasoned Scrapbookers are welcome. Bring your photos and share your ideas. Meetings are held the second Tuesday and the last Thursday evenings of every month (weather permitting). Questions? Call Sheryl Stemmons: (785) 840-4239.
  • A dinner meeting of American Legion Auxiliary No. 393 will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday at the McLouth Community Center. Special guest will be Sarah Woodhead, our 2007 delegate to Sunflower Girls State. Please bring a covered dish and table service. New members are welcome.
  • McLouth's Parent Teacher Organization will have their "Back to School Picnic" on the Elementary School Playground, on Tuesday, August 14, from 5:00 -- 7:00 p.m.
