The six-year drought is over. For six straight years, the Tonganoxie High volleyball team went home after it played in the sub-state championship game. On Saturday on their home court, the Chieftains booked themselves a ticket 150 miles west on Interstate 70 to Salina — the site of the 2007 Class 4A state volleyball tournament on Oct. 26-27.
