McLouth Happenings

On March 21, three McLouth residents, all having March birthdays, enjoyed a surprise birthday party, which Susie Schwinn played host to at The Town Clipper.

Honored guests were Freda Meyer, 95, Louise Gilbert, 94, and Dorothy Funk, 92. Their four daughters and several friends enjoyed cake and coffee and a nice visit.

A special visiting guest was "Duke" Karmann, a Doberman Pinscher.

Ladies are invited for fun and fellowship at 7 p.m. Monday at Countryside Baptist Church, 10328 Wellman Rd.

Weather permitting, a community scrapbooking fellowship will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the basement of McLouth First Baptist Church.

Beginners and seasoned scrapbookers are welcome. Bring your photos and share your ideas. Questions? Please call Sheryl Stemmons: (785) 840-4239.

American Legion Auxiliary #393 will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the McLouth Community Center.

Members are reminded it's time to get Mother's Day Cards and handkerchiefs to Dee Hornback, so she can deliver them to the veterans. New members always are welcome.

McLouth Parent Teachers Organization will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10 in the MHS home economics room. Babysitting will be provided.
