McLouth Happenings

Guests of the McLouth Friendship Club's April luncheon were members of the McLouth High School National Honor Society and their sponsors. It was a wonderful opportunity to become acquainted with these outstanding and promising students. Seniors: Kassidie Kramer, Leah Hoffhines, Martin Lucas, Mark Stewart, Brian Kabus, Jesse Snyder and Sarah Woodhead; juniors: Lezley Lawson, Jarrod Bechard, Amanda Friesz, Gelia Gardner, Haley Holwick, and Kendall Patterson. Faculty co-sponsors are Laurie Cleavinger and Cliff Weeks.

¢ Little Lambs Preschool welcomes you to their open house on Saturday. The event will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This Christian-based educational program, located at 201 Lucy in McLouth, is enrolling children ages 3 - 6 years for the 2008-2009 school year. Questions? ¢ The annual McLouth-area Rural School Reunion (formerly the Eureka and Wildhorse Reunion) will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the McLouth Community Center. Please note: Everyone who attended any of our local one-room schoolhouses is encouraged to attend and reminisce. Your families are welcome. Display your photos, scrapbooks, and share your memories. Please bring a covered dish to share and table service for your family. Coffee and iced tea will be furnished. ¢ Ladies are invited for Fun and Fellowship at Countryside Baptist Church (10328 Wellman Rd.) at 7 p.m. Monday.

¢ McLouth's Parent-Teacher Organization will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 8 in the High School Home Economics Room. Babysitting will be provided.

¢ American Legion Auxiliary No. 393 will sponsor their annual bake sale and luncheon at the Community Center on Saturday, May 10. Bake sale opens at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30. p.m. Proceeds from their fundraisers remain in the McLouth community, distributed to scholarships and Girls State delegates.
