Warrior wrestlers competing well

Following Tonganoxie Middle School’s home wrestling meet Nov. 24, the Warriors’ record in individual matches improved to 225-123 with TMS grapplers winning 166 of those matches by pinfalls.

The Warriors’ final meet will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Clark.

Eighth grade girls split with Mill Creek

The Tonganoxie Middle School eighth-grade girls team defeated Mill Creek, 29-22, on Nov. 25.

Jennifer Whitledge led the Warriors with eight points and four steals. Hannah Kemp scored five and had two assists. Rachel Washington led TMS with six rebounds.

Tonganoxie held Mill Creek to just five first-half points.

The TMS eighth-grade B-team lost to Mill Creek, 21-17.

Molly Welsh led Tonganoxie with five points. Summer Minor scored four.
