Chieftain wrestlers win home invitational

The Tonganoxie High wrestling team won its home invitational for the third year in a row on Saturday.

Four Chieftains won gold in their respective weight classes at the 2008 Randy Starcher Memorial Invitational : senior Matt Brock (140), junior Jeremy Elliott (160), junior Jeremie Maus (171) and senior Steve Davis (189).

Davis was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the tournament.
