MHS to crown King and Queen Friday

McLouth High School will crown its King and Queen of Courts on Friday.

This year's Queen candidates are Sam Farris, Abby Annis and Kassidie Kramer.

This year's King candidates are Ryan Smith, Mike Rome and Mark Stewart. The crowning will take place at halftime of the McLouth boys game against Kansas City Christian. Halftime is expected to start about 8 p.m. MHS students are participating in Spirit Week, as each day carries a different theme. Monday was Twin Day, while Tuesday was Teacher Day. Today has been designated Senior Citizen Day, Thursday is Love Day and Friday is Purple and Gold Day.

The student with the best costume wins a $10 cash prize each day. A dance after Friday's game will put the final touch on Spirit Week festivities. The dance will run from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Purple Gym.
