McLouth happenings

Everyone is invited to a special Benefit Concert for Heidi Karn-Barker at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the First Baptist Church of McLouth. Heidi’s double-lung transplant surgery was successful, and her recovery progression has been remarkable. A special love offering will be taken during the concert to help cover expenses. Please keep Heidi in your prayers.

Community “Scrapbooking” Fellowship will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the basement of McLouth First Baptist Church (weather permitting). Beginners and seasoned Scrapbookers are welcome. Bring your photos and share your ideas. Questions? Please call Sheryl Stemmons: (785) 840-4239.

American Legion Auxiliary No. 393 encourages all girls in their junior year of McLouth High School to apply for the 66th annual session of Kansas Sunflower Girls State, which will be on the Kansas University campus in Lawrence for one week: Sunday, June 1, through Friday, June 6.
