Wilson-Agin to speak at society’s meeting
The Tonganoxie Community Historical Society will have guest speaker Elizabeth Wilson-Agin on hand July 22 at 7 p.m.
Wilson-Agin is scheduled to talk about how unmarked graves and burial sites are located. Additional topics include GPS and kite aerial photography.
A 1994 graduate of Tonganoxie High, Wilson-Agin earned her bachelor’s degree in archaeology from Kansas University and a master’s degree in geophysics from Emporia State University. She now works as a geophysicist for FPM Group in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Wilson-Agin is internationally known for her research and investigations in locating unmarked graves with tools. A nationwide speaker, her work has been featured in various publications in the United States and throughout Europe, including a top story on the Yahoo homepage.
