Join the community for the ninth annual Freedom Social at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Fellowship Hall of McLouth Church of the Nazarene for testimonies, skits, songs and great food.
Those attending are asked bring a dish to share. Military, police, firefighters and first responders will be honored. Photos of service men and women are welcome.
This is also an opportunity to bring small items for "care packages" to be sent to troops overseas. Bring your lawn chairs and yard games if you wish to enjoy the great outdoors.
¢ McLouth Friendship Club's covered-dish luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Community Center. All adults over 50 are welcome. Please bring a covered dish to share, and your table service.
