McLouth Happenings

Descendants of George and Grace Tarr had their family reunion June 8 at the McLouth Community Center. Those who signed the register were: Grant, Denise and Allen Spainhower; Hayley Peine; Rose Tarr Smith; Allen and Clark Tarr; Roy and Wilma Stevens; Wanda and Rebecca Jenicke; Dennis, Ethel, and Rodney Stevens; Denise Stevens and Jeffery Ladd; Ronnie and Carol Zule; Dennis and Terry Yarnell; Vickie Martynowski; Gary and Mary Zule; Becky Zule Spink and Chris Clemmons; Sylvia Tarr; Norma Tarr; John and Zelma Sanders; Rick and Beverly Muzzy; Ronda Sanders-MowBray. Attendees enjoyed a covered-dish dinner, video slide show and door prizes.

¢ Jefferson County Historical Society will sponsor a display of vintage christening gowns and dresses from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Edmonds Chapel in Old Jefferson Town, on U.S. Highway 59 in Oskaloosa.

¢ The Community "Scrapbooking" Fellowship will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26, in the basement of the First Baptist Church of McLouth. Beginners and seasoned scrapbookers are welcome. Bring your photos and share your ideas. Questions? Please call Sheryl Stemmons: (785) 840-4239.
