McLouth Friendship Club Covered Dish Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Community Center. All adults over 50 are welcome. It’s a great way to get out and enjoy fellowship with folks in our community. In addition to sharing a tasty meal and making new friendships, you may have your blood pressure and blood sugar checked by the health nurse for a small donation (suggested amount: $1). We have entertainment, such as music, poems, jokes, etc. Occasionally, we receive information that could save a life. It is good for your health to have friends, so come and have a good time. Please bring a covered dish to share. (Entrance and parking lot are at the rear of the building.) If you need a ride, the Jefferson County Services Organization van, with limited seating, is available to residents within a mile radius of McLouth. Please call Charlotte Robinson to make your reservation for the van: (913) 796-6798.

Parents As Teachers playgroup will enjoy “Pat the Bunny,” decorating Easter eggs, making bunny crafts and an Easter Egg Hunt on Tuesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the McLouth Community Center. For more information, contact parent educator Jennifer Klamm: (913) 845-1519. Parents As Teachers is a fun, free, educational program for any family with children 0 – 3 years of age.

United Methodist Women will meet for their noon luncheon on Friday, March 21.
