Kaw Valley League Football Report: Week Five

By Staff | Oct 5, 2008

The race for the Kaw Valley League championship is hardly down to a two-team race, although there are only two teams left that are unbeaten in league play. Those teams are Lansing — which knocked Perry-Lecompton from the unbeaten ranks on Friday with a 36-28 victory — and Mill Valley, which survived a serious scare from Turner.

More league games remain to be played in the coming weeks, and none may be bigger than the Class 5A district showdown between Lansing and Mill Valley in a few weeks.
