McLouth Friendship Club’s covered dish luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Community Center. All adults 50 and older are welcome Please bring a covered dish to share, and your table service. If you need a ride, the Jefferson County Services Organization vehicle (with limited seating) is available to residents within a one-mile radius of McLouth. • All school-aged girls are invited to join McLouth Girl Scouts Troop 7618. Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadets, Seniors and Ambassadors build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, such as leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. • First Baptist Church of McLouth welcomes everyone to a praise gathering at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25. Enjoy an evening of old-fashioned hymn singing, special music, sharing of testimonies and experiences, Christian fellowship and refreshments. McLouth Ministerial Alliance will accept a free will offering, which will be used to provide food and assistance to individuals and families.
