Tonganoxie youths compete at Hershey’s state meet

A number of Tonganoxie youths competed in the Hershey’s Track and Field State Meet in Hutchinson, held June 19-20.

Tonganoxie’s Ronald Myers won the 800- and 1600-meter races in the boys 13-14 division.

Some of the other top Tonganoxie finishers included Brenna Kietzmann, who placed sixth in the standing long jump for girls 13-14, and Bobby Johnson, who finished fourth in the 9-10 boys 400-meter dash.
