Sisters Sharon Lynn and Evelyn Schwinn spent April 1 together with lunch and some shopping and they visited Wilda Lynn at Homestead in Leavenworth.

Springdale Friends Church had a special Easter service, with Pastor Bill giving his sermon to a large crowd. The Sunday school children had made a special gift for each family. Following the service, Pastor Bill and his wife played host to an Easter egg hunt on the lawn.

Evelyn Schwinn joined the Greg Gillaspie family and Jeff Gillaspie family for dinner in Easton at the Ed and Peggy Gillaspie home. It was also Greg and Jenna’s birthday dinner.

Rick Schwinn was enjoying his 25th birthday on Monday, April 5.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp helped with Sunday morning breakfast on April 4 at the United Methodist Church. They served 101 people from the five churches celebrating Holy Week services.

L.J. and Gertrude Chrisman celebrated Easter dinner with their daughter Valerie and children of Lenexa. Also in attendance were Joyce and Kenny Webb of Shawnee Mission, and Steve Chrisman of Springdale.
