Channel 6 will have a live newscast outside Tonganoxie High School as part of its Main Street Live series.

Festivities start at 5:30 p.m. Friday, when hot dogs, chips and drinks will be handed out.

The show itself will begin at 6 p.m.

During the event, The Mirror also will be selling subscriptions and the first few customers to subscribe will receive a Tonganoxie Chieftain stadium blanket.

Channel 6 was in Tonganoxie a year ago for the first Main Street Live tour.
