Bulldogs drop games at Troy
The McLouth High boys basketball team lost, 63-42, on Friday at Troy.
The Bulldogs (2-3) fell behind early with a seven-point first quarter and trailed by 15 entering the second. They played Troy close from that point on but the early deficit was too big to overcome.
Gavin Swearngin led MHS with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Shawn Dailey had 14 points and three assists. Alen Kramer added eight points.
The McLouth girls also lost, 40-36, moving their record to 1-4.
The Bulldogs are off for winter break and resume play Jan. 4 at Oskaloosa.
