MHS girls win rivalry road game

The McLouth High girls basketball team rallied from an eight-point halftime deficit to win, 56-52, at Oskaloosa on Friday.

The Bulldogs (12-7) were still down four points after three quarters but outplayed the Bears in the fourth, outscoring them 19-11.

Three MHS players scored in double figures. Senior guard Missy Rome led her team with 18, Morgan Drinnon scored 13 and Terri Stewart added 11.

Senior Kylie Shufflebarger was close behind them with nine points, and contributed nine rebounds, four steals and four assists.

Rome led the team with five assists.

McLouth travels to Holton to play Jackson Heights on Tuesday and closes its regular season on Friday with a home game against Doniphan West.
