Bulldogs fall to Wathena

The McLouth High boys basketball team lost to Wathena, 51-35, on Tuesday night.

MHS (2-5) led by a point after three quarters, but the visitors ran away from the Bulldogs in the fourth, outscoring the home team 23-8.

Senior guard Cole Batman led the way for McLouth, scoring 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting.

However, the rest of the team combined to score just 15 points.

Tyler Drinnon had five, Trevor Roberts and Gavin Swearngin had four apiece and Alen Kramer scored two.

On Friday, MHS plays host to Immaculata at 7:30 p.m.
