MHS boys end 7-game skid
McLouth High’s boys basketball team snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 61-42 home win over Doniphan West in its regular-season finale Friday.
The victory was the Bulldogs’ fourth of the season and first since Jan. 29.
MHS (4-17) enjoyed an eight-point halftime advantage and extended its lead throughout the final 16 minutes.
Senior guard Cole Batman, playing his final home game at McLouth, led his team with 22 points, powered by three three-pointers.
Sophomore MHS guard Shawn Dailey scored 10 points, sophomore center Alen Kramer added eight and Tyler Drinnon and Gavin Swearngin each contributed six.
The Bulldogs enter the postseason Monday night with a 7 p.m. tip at Kansas City Christian.
