Huseman, Reidel win medals at state wrestling tourney

Two Tonganoxie Wrestling Club members won state medals this past weekend at the Kansas Expocentre.
Asher Huseman finished second in the state (12 and under, 120 pounds) and Korbin Reidel placed third in the state (8 and under, 67 pounds).
Four other Tonganoxie wrestlers — Zach Kaighin, Justin Soetaert, Dalton Tavis and Seth Wolf — competed at the state tournament but didn’t win a match.

What’s the best way to spend a snow day?
Shovel your driveway and paths, check neighbors’ driveways and then grab all your closest little ones and find the biggest sledding hill. Snowmen also are a must. Snow days are a great time to catch up on missed shows and much-needed rest. I love snowdays, they haven’t changed one bit even as an adult, although I am sure not all working adults can say that, but I am happy I can. I was excited to see the snowmen and other snow sculptures throughout the Lawrence and Kansas City metro areas.
