The Chieftains finished in a 2-2 tie Thursday at Ottawa, a day after losing at home, 4-1, to Kansas City Christian.

Sarah Williams scored on a penalty kick in the second tie of the season for THS and Molly Welsh scored the team’s other goal.

Williams had Tonganoxie’s only score in the loss to KCC.

The Chieftains (4-8-2) were scheduled to play host to Basehor-Linwood on Tuesday after The Mirror’s deadline.
