The Tonganoxie Middle School wrestling team won a home dual against Lansing on Wednesday to improve to 4-2 in duals this season.

The following wrestlers picked up victories in the dual: Mitch Brock, Ben Clark, Austin Ettinger, Kyle Fain, Sinjan Gergick, Andrew Harris, Sage Herrera, Duskin Hull, Asher Huseman, Heath Martin, Thomas Minor, Kendall Parsons, Ethan Phillips, Jared Somers, Dalton Tavis and Seth Wolf.

Eighth-grade grappler Tavis leads TMS thus far with 10 victories.

Seventh-grader Phillips has a team-best 24 takedowns, eight escapes and two technical falls for the Warriors.

Hull, an eighth-grader, leads TMS with five two-point near falls and 12 three-point near falls.

Eighth-grader Parsons’ nine pins lead Tonganoxie at this point.
