Advance voting still available

The Leavenworth County Election office will begin the advance voting process and voters will be able to vote in advance of the County Election Office and other locations. Advance Voting will be available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 and will run each weekday through Nov. 1. On that day, advance voting will be available 8 a.m.-noon.

Council to consider trails plan

After nearly a year in development, the Tonganoxie City Council will consider Monday a pedestrian and bicycle master plan that when fully realized will lace the community with a network of sidewalks, shared-use trails and on-street bicycle lanes.
