Golf tourney to aid Roberts
A golf tournament to benefit McLouth High senior Trevor Roberts, whose left leg was amputated after complications from a football injury, will take place Sunday, Nov. 7 at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka.
The Trevor Roberts Golf Benefit will be a four-person scramble with 7 a.m. registration and 8 a.m. shotgun start. Money raised will help Roberts and his guardians, Jerrad and Lisa Humerickhouse, with expenses that have come up since his injury.
Entry fees cost $60 a person and $240 a team and cover greens fees, a cart and lunch.
Holes can be sponsored for $200 or hole sponsorship can be packaged with a team registration for $400.
Lunch and prize distribution will follow the tournament.
Team registration is available online at www.mclouth.org.
