Methodist church to have Sunday school kick-off party

The Tonganoxie United Methodist Church Sunday School Kick-off Celebration will start at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12 with hot dogs, ice cream, water slide fun and music.
The public is welcome to attend the event at Fourth and Bury streets in downtown Tonganoxie.

Do you have any big summer trips planned, or will you take the staycation route?
We have family who live in Wisconsin, so we will go up to see them. We will do lots of fishing or sleeping in the boat, depending on what’s biting. We will be around Tongie most of the summer to help prepare our kids for their fall seasons, too.”
