Austin Ettinger ran for two of the Warriors’ three touchdowns. The other TD came on a pass from Grant Elston to Lucas Skaggs. Elston also scored on three separate two-point conversions.

The seventh-graders’ next game is at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, when TMS (1-0) plays host to Monticello Trails.

TMS 8th-graders tie

Tonganoxie’s eighth-grade squad began its season at home against Mill Creek but the game ended in a 20-20 tie after overtime.

Jared Somers scored all three of the Warriors’ touchdowns.

The TMS eighth-graders (0-0-1) travel on Tuesday to Monticello Trails.
