McLouth Happenings

Enjoy the state qualifier demolition derby, which starts at 7 p.m., Saturday at McLouth's Threshing Bee Grounds. Classes are 80s and newer, compact and “powder puff.”

• McLouth Public Library’s Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday. For more information, please call (913) 796-2225.

• McLouth Cub Scout Pack 81 will have a parent and scout information night for boys in grades first through fifth and their parents at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug 25, in the school library. Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose. Cub Scout activities encourage good behavior, teach lifelong values, involve a variety of family activities and strengthen the bonds of family.
