Sharon Lynn and Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed a sister day Aug. 22. They had lunch at Santa Fe Depot Diner in Leavenworth, did some visiting and went shopping.

Springdale Friends Church had a board meeting at the home of Richard and Wanda Parker for a carry-in dinner on Aug. 23. A business meeting led by Rev. Bob Santel followed.

Linda Haley, a neighbor of Anabel Knapp, was a visitor at her home on Aug. 22.

Barbara Slawter, a neighbor of Anabel Knapp, was a visitor Aug. 23.

Marcus Woodhead, a brother of Anabel Knapp, has been moved to the Tonganoxie nursing home and is very ill.
