THS Booster Club serving chili during games Friday

The Tonganoxie High School Booster Club will offer dinner during the THS boys and girls basketball games against Piper on Friday as it has a Chili, Soup and Crock-Pot Cook-Off.
The chili and soup will be served in the Chieftain Room at THS during the girls game, which starts at 5:30 p.m., and the boys game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. Visitors can pay $5 for all they they can eat, and they can also vote for their favorite items.
A dessert contest will also be included. Winners of the contests will get trophies and cash prizes.

What’s the best way to spend a snow day?
Shovel your driveway and paths, check neighbors’ driveways and then grab all your closest little ones and find the biggest sledding hill. Snowmen also are a must. Snow days are a great time to catch up on missed shows and much-needed rest. I love snowdays, they haven’t changed one bit even as an adult, although I am sure not all working adults can say that, but I am happy I can. I was excited to see the snowmen and other snow sculptures throughout the Lawrence and Kansas City metro areas.
