Leavenworth County Commission agenda: week of Jan. 10

The new Leavenworth County Commission will convene for the first time on Monday with commissioner-elect Bob Holland, and the commissioners will meet in executive session to begin reviewing county administrator applicants on Thursday.

Monday, Jan. 10
9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business
- Review minutes of Jan. 6
11:30 a.m.: Swearing-in ceremony in board room for commissioner-elect Bob Holland
1 p.m.: Current board adjourns “sine die” (for the final time)
1:01 p.m.: Appoint temporary chairman
1:02 p.m.: Board convenes for reorganization
- Appoint chairman for 2011
- Establish regular meeting days
- Establish designated bill days
- Designate approved depositories
- Consider request for proposals for official county newspaper
- Appoint representative to outside committees
Thursday, Jan. 13
9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business
- Review minutes of Jan. 10 meeting
- Review agenda for week of Jan. 17
9:15 a.m.: Public works monthly report
11:00 a.m.: Review of county administrator applications (in executive session)
