The new Leavenworth County Commission will convene for the first time on Monday with commissioner-elect Bob Holland, and the commissioners will meet in executive session to begin reviewing county administrator applicants on Thursday.

11:30 a.m.: Swearing-in ceremony in board room for commissioner-elect Bob Holland

1 p.m.: Current board adjourns “sine die” (for the final time)

1:01 p.m.: Appoint temporary chairman

1:02 p.m.: Board convenes for reorganization

• Appoint chairman for 2011
• Establish regular meeting days
• Establish designated bill days
• Designate approved depositories
• Consider request for proposals for official county newspaper
• Appoint representative to outside committees

Thursday, Jan. 13
