The board was to have its regular meeting tonight, but has postponed the meeting until 6 p.m. Thursday because of the snowstorm.

Earlier in the day, the Tonganoxie City Council announced it would not be meeting tonight and instead would meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

In addition, several area schools did not have classes today, including Tonganoxie and McLouth school districts and Genesis Christian Academy. Tonganoxie Public Library also closed its doors today because of the weather.
