Basehor Community Library planning second summer concert Friday

The band Bolt Upright will perform Friday at the Basehor Community Library’s second summer concert at Basehor City Park.

The free show will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the city park, 15940 Leavenworth Rd.

Visitors can bring chairs or blankets for seating. The Basehor VFW Post 11499 will sell concessions.

Bolt Upright is a local band that plays rock, rockabilly, blues and country music.

: Bolt Upright! performs at the 2010 Dairy Days in Basehor City Park. The band will make another appearance in the park July 9 for a concert organized by the Basehor Community Library.
