Pastor’s Corner: Ryan Keltner

March 1, 2011

There are so many things going on in the world today. So many people in the world are going through trials. Some have lost their jobs, family and money. The things they had put all their security in were only physical things.

God intended for us not to put faith in the things of this world, but in Him. Psalm 23 talks about walking through the Valley of Darkness.

I think we need to concentrate on the word “through.” I know it doesn’t look like it now, but God has better things for you, if you fully trust in Him. He will supply all your needs and will lead you to greener pastures.

It is disappointing as a pastor to see people who love God and want Him to lead them, but then something happens and they turn their back on God, the one person who can truly lead them through the valley to better things.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things in Him that strengthens me.”

I want to encourage everyone to put your faith in the Lord and remember that there are people in this community who are praying for you and care about you.

— Rev. Keltner is associate pastor at Cornerstone Family Worship.
