Consider Approval of Bills - Approve Pay Ordinance A-1658
Consider approval of Change Order No 1 submitted by Nowak Construction for work on the BPU water line, the change order includes extra costs to raise the meter vault walls and a deduct for rock not excavated which reduces the original contract price by $6,570.25.
Consider approval of appropriation to Board of Public Utilities for construction inspection services associated with the BPU waterline in the amount of $2,625.00.
Consider approval of appropriation to First State Bank & Trust in the amount of $24,102.21 for semi annual lease payment associated with the 2006 & 2007 Fire Engines
Consider approval of appropriation of $3,768.23 to Steammaster Clean for mold remediation services to be reimbursed by the Property and Liability Insurance Company.
Consider appropriation to Link-Lite Networking Inc in the amount of $9,345.00 for purchase and installation of Allworx automated telephone system.

a) Consider appropriating an amount NTE $2,500 for engineering services to research infrastructure capabilities and improvements to formulate a proposal for the sale of water to Public Wholesale Water District #6.
b) Proposal for Engineering Services for Utilities Extensions and Site Preparation work for the Tonganoxie Industrial Park.
c) Discussion concerning acquiring a facility to house a new Police Facility and a Fire Department Annex (table until June 13th Meeting)
d) Discuss Chapter 8 Health and Welfare (Nuisance) and 14 (Traffic) and consider adopting Ordinance amending the Tonganoxie City Code (table item).

Consider Resolution 05-11-01 A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE OF HEARING BEFORE THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF TONGANOXIE, KANSAS, AT WHICH TIME AND PLACE THE OWNER, HIS AGENT, LIENHOLDERS OF RECORD, AND OCCUPANTS OF THE STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 1000 EAST 1st STREET MAY APPEAR TO SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH STRUCTURES SHOULD NOT BE CONDEMNED AND ORDERED REPAIRED OR DEMOLISHED AS UNSAFE OR DANGEROUS STRUCTURES.

Consider authorizing the Mayor to sign a contract with Wald & Co., Inc, dba All American Display Fireworks for the June 11th aerial pyrotechnic program (fireworks show)
Consider approval of amendments to the Tonganoxie City Code concerning permits for the sale of fireworks increasing the application fee from $300 to $500 by adopting Ordinance No. 1318.
Consider accepting Planning Commission recommendation to approve the rezone from I-MD (Moderate Industrial) to GBD (General Business District) and adopt Resolution 05-11-03 adopting the findings of facts and conclusions as outlined by the City of Tonganoxie Zoning Ordinance, Section 27-011, and further adopt Ordinance No. 1319.
